Me and my Show

SO, a minor milestone for any artist's career is their first gallery show. For me, this happened over the weekend, at a gallery called "Fallout" in Whittier. The theme of the show was "Archiving" so I submitted Sampson and Delilah, the four page bible comic to the show! See for yourself!



Ok folks, I was literally the ONLY person there, it was hilarious. I was the sole witness to my first gallery show. The title of this post is real, it truly was JUST ME and my show. SO fun.

I love my dorky pride.

I am the awesomest person I know.

But I'm bias because I live with me :/

Ode to body art

SO for experimental Comics the assignment was to take a story, and present it in a new way.

I've always had the famous concave chest cavity, so i based the story around that.

I have to give props to my roommate max for helping me apply the tattoos! He also recently got a (permanent) tattoo. I'd never get a real one, but this is my way of showing my appreciation to the art of tattoo.








For the record, these were really hared to remove.

Buffy

SO, anyone who knows me knows that I have an undying, unhealty, eternal obsession with Buffy. It's literally a part of my core being.

That said, I've never taken a legitimate attempt at doing a Buffy project.

Until Now.

here's the very in progress sketch, and I reallllly want it to be perfect, because it's Buffy after all...so for the first time in Jason's Unpublished Life history, i'm asking for your thoughts!




it's going to be a "cover" so there's room at the top for the title, but as you can see there's going to be a grouping of former buffy villains surrounding her, with spike off near by being sexy...

So do you like it? again, this is BUFFY. This is where my heart lives. SO it has to be perfect.
